been cycling my aquarium for nearly two weeks all seems to be going ok till today

yesterday

ammonia 0
nitrite 4
nitrates 160

today
ammonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrates 0






i know that it is impossible for the nitrates to drop so would you say that the nitrate test has gone bad have tested 3 times and followed instructions to the letter.

Give bottle two of the nitrate test kit several taps on a hard surface followed by a severe shake before testing next time.
