I currently have a 37 gallon tank, fully cycled. It only houses a 4 inch flowerhorn (hes just growing a bit and then will have his own large tank)... however im also starting a 90 gallon tank set up. The 37 gallon tank's filter is pretty small, it came with one that's attached to it however I think I could fit maybe 4 biomedia balls in one of the chambers to help seed for the 90 gallon. Will 4 balls even be enough to help it cycle? And how long does it need to be in the 37 gallon for to get enough bacteria? The biomedia balls I got are shown below that I got off amazon.

I'm unsure how many balls you'll need for the 90, but leave them in the 37 filter box for 4 or 5 weeks, 6 could be better. I'm sure any amount of bacteria will at least help a bit in seeding the new filter
