cute bugs, what are these?

Anyone have a guess what these bugs are? They are few mm in length and is shifting between darker and lighter colours as you might see on the pics. It prefers to walk around but can also swim. It walks around pretty slowly and just sometimes kind of jump from one place to another. It has antennas as shown on the last pic where it is walking on the glass. Any guess what these bugs might be is welcomed

mine has the same striped-look patterns so I think its some kind of ostracod I have although mine looks a bit more oval in the shape than those ostracods in the video.

Pretty sure those are seed shrimp (ostracods). I've never seen ones with that pretty pattern on them. Would you send me some? I'm sure shipping from Norway is reasonable.

There are lots of kinds of ostracods. As far as I know, all of them are harmless and even beneficial to your tank. I enjoy having them, but they never last long before the fish eat them.

Edit: I just watched your video again, Kluttermus, and I'm not sure. I've never seen see shrimp crawl like that before. Those almost look like some sort of tiny, aquatic insect. Do they ever swim, or do they just crawl around on the leaves?

oh, I thought the moving pattern on mine seemed similar to the YT video of ostracods. Yes they do swim occasionally but preferably not it seems. I do think too it looks like a small bug of some kind. Its almost like yhey have a small head and even black eyes.

I asked my wife's aunt, who is a biology teacher specializing in aquatic bugs. She thinks they're ostracods, too.
