Don't worry! Your Angel is a nice Koi Angel with prominent colouring. A little, bent fin won't stop him from being like any other angel. He'll breed, provided he pairs off. You can't really stick any two Angels in together, being one male and one female, firstly because it's hard to tell them apart anyways, but secondly because they probably won't breed, unless your really lucky!

And if he already had the bent fin when you bought him, it definately wasn't your fault :D

He is a fast growing little thing I thik it might be because he has a better diet than most people do! He had a nickle sized body when I got him it has been six weeks since then. And now he has a quarter sized body.

If I breed him to a marbled wll the fry be koi with more black coloring or will they just be marbles? Or if I find another koi to be his mate with more orange than he has will the fry have more orange or less?

I was thinking of getting a koi angelfish from angelplus to be his mate but they seem very pricey there....Kopix only costed 4$ when I got him and the koi there are 30$ even though they are still babies!

I have a female koi that paired with a black marble.

Some are dark and some are light and some surprise surprise are a mix.

i can understand not wanting your topic to get "lost in the mists of time", but its typically regarded as bad form to bump a topic that has not been pushed back at least a page. ;)

if he's still only quarter-sized, i wouldn't be too worried about breeding him just yet... how large is your female?
