It seems it was sulking because the CO2 needle valve had been knocked.

Must put bubble counter somewhere more visible.

Must put drop checker back in tank.

Well, the slow burn progresses. The secondary tank is up and running and the main display is just gravel and water. Tonight it'll just be a tank and by the end of tomorrow it'll just be a space.

It's amazing how well the crypts have been multiplying, particularly as I seem to have 3 types, having only bought 2 bunches ever.

I'll try to get pics of the secondary set up tonight. I didn't want to bother the fish too much with extra lighting yesterday evening after they'd all been netted and moved.

My OH must be long suffering as yesterday was our wedding anniversary and I spent 2 hours moving a tank over.

New tank arrives on Thursday. Now I just need to get the drain hole drilled and a pipe though it while working 12 hour days.

Further to the needle valve, the cylinder ran out, so the hygro is now growing again, just as I'm messing with it.

This arrived today.

Sump I was planning on using doesn't fit under the tank (well it does, but not without taking a saw to fairly important bits of the cabinet). So the sump will be constructed from something else. I'm thinking that the slimline 100l water butt that's lying around will do a fair temporary job.

Fish are currently enjoying a holiday in the holding tank until I get the pipework and scaping done.
