I have thought of a awesome plan lol!

My other half doesent like fish tanks very much...I already have a 100g Mbuna tank...and planning on building a large brick koi pond in my back yard (not to mention i want to stick a 8ft tank in my garage...shhhhh )

And really want another small tank to breed some new worlds in a small species tank.

I plan on getting a small tank that is pink! with bright coloured gravel and tacky ornaments......and get a few pink convict cichlids and put it in my daughters play room! haha

What size tank shoudl i get for a species only tank? don't wnat anythign to big as i'm pushing my luck already

fantstic idea, if only women were actually as much of a push over that u guys think we are.. she`ll take the tank im sure..but i bet she`ll have a few extras n mind if you give me her email address, ill show her a pic of a beautiful blue diamond that i found hehehehe

Getting your daughter into fish keeping is your best bet. If it's 2 against 1 what can she do. And I am sure if it makes your little one happy she will be happy.

That is my plan to get a bigger tank in a few years. Get my daughter to like fish and then her and I can work daddy over.

For convicts as long as u only get a pair, i wud say a 29g tank minimum wud be suitable.

Btw i think that snowflake311's idea is genious, although it is a bit coniving and somewhat treacherous it just might work.

P.S. good luck on the 8 footer, if u every find a way to convince someone into letting u get that plz let me no.
