Ive just done my weekly water change and gravel vac. And Ive noticed all my crypts are all just dying i suppose. Live they have abit of algae on them and when i go to give them a bit of a rub the go all brown and like goo. Anybody know what could of caused this? Tank in habitants: 1 betta, 6 corys, 2 blue rams. The tank also has a Nutrafin Co2 kit aswell. Dont know the PH at the moment. Thanks in advance

They were already beaking down before I did any cleaning. There was broken down leaves on the ground before i touched them so I doubt anything like me touching them would have anything to do with them. I have 1 T8 globe on the tank. All other plants are ok. Just the 4 out of 5 cyrpts

Crypts tend to do that when first planted into a new tank, they wither away and appear to have died, only to start shooting new leaves over the coming weeks. Are these new or old plants? How long have they been planted?

They've been planted for about 2-3months and havnt been moved the whole time. Ive heard its called melting? Maybe they are "melting" but I thought its after they've been up-rooted and then planted again but these plants havnt. Just curious as to what happened to them. They were doing fine up until about 3-4 days ago

I am guessing it is just melting, it can take them a while to realise the water isnt going away and then they melt, they don't always react to being underwater straight away, I expect they will come back again.
