Crushed coral for rising PH?

My PH is dropping (I guess the aquasoil), could I get these to put in the filter to up it slowly?
Went from like 7.4-7.2 to 6.8 I don't want my snail's shells to dissolve

How much would you use for 27 gallons? Also I'll look into the cuttlebone! The ones made for birds are ok?

The issue I see with 'naturally' adding minerals is stability. Every time you do a water change, you undo the increase in minerals. The reverse is true with water softening techniques. Both situations reduce the incentive for water changes, and that can harm the fish.

I would do them outside the aquarium - to doctor the water going in with the water change. Even better, I would see how @CassCats suggests putting the cuttlebone in. If you can target the snail without having to change the whole tank, that would be better.

Treating water outside the tank takes space and resources.

Also, measure your KH and GH. They are far more important than pH for your snail. It's probable they aren't dropping at all, and there may not be a problem.

Yes the ones for birds are fine!

As for increasing... it really depends on your other parameters. Id opt for the dietary option first and see how that goes.
