Crown Tail And Veil Tale Breeding Fighting

Help!!!! I read online that you can breed crown tails and veil tale betta so i bought a veil tale female when he built his first bubble nest. Within hours he had ripped off most of her fins and tales I read online AGAIN and it said ripped fins were normal so I left her alone. But like just one minute ago I saw her hiding in the little decrotive cave and she moving her gills really fast and shaking and she had NO tail!!!!!!!!! He is stalking her as I type ((( PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D:

if shes that injured keep her water clean, im sure there is some stuff you put in for damages like this but for the life of me i cant remember what its called, its to prevent any infection, im sure someone with more experience will be along to advise
