What a day!!!
After having not seen my smaller BN for the best part of a week I decided to have a hunt for her today. I put some cucumber in last night to hopefully tempt her out, but no such long. Instead Cpt Birdseye (my orange BN) had a feast all to himself.
After doing my usual gravel clean i moved around the two larger bits of bogwood and shuffled around some plants (i do this every so often with the usual bit of gardening) still no luck.
After about 2hours from start to finish manouvering bits and pieces, still no sign of her. I'm beginning to think Cpt Beye may have bullied the poor thing to death
Although i've never seen them argue.
I topped up the water, and turned off the lights to let the fish calm down a bit. Poor things, being subjected to so much abuse in one hit. (apologies fishies)
I went out to go grab a towel, and come back in the room to find my ''missing'' BN stuck firmly to the front glass, in a seemingly smug fashion
She also looked much bigger than I remember, unless it was just my eyes!
Does anyone else have a fish that will disappear for a few days? I know plecs and BN alike do have a habit of being quite shy sometimes... but it got me very worried!!
Ho hum, maybe she's just being the typical elusive female.
