My kids play cricket and went to see Flintoff play at Northants yesterday. I try to understand it as they play but I just can't get the hang of it

I play a bit of club cricket. Dunno if you've heard of Ravinder Bopara who plays for essex but he came from my club( thats my little claim to fame) Keep wicket myself cos i'm absolute #### at bowling an not much better at batting, but its a laugh so oh well

Plays cricket, subdistrict level. Opening Quickie(6'5), bowl at about 130-135km/hr(80mph) off my full run. Bowl reverse swing when it happens, but with the new ball generally seam(inseam) bowler. Also pretty handy with the bat, have batted every position, and made runs at all. Defensively correct, Great on the cutshot, great on the front foot through square round to mid on, but crap on legside minus fineleg.

Isnt that the wrong way round for a tailender
