Fish Crazy
This post use to be about How you could use an empty bottle for effective use in a fish environment, however, i've decided to make this post about Ideas for fish keeping as a whole.
Please feel free to post freely. These are my thoughts.
What are the uses of an empty bottle in an aquarium?
What ive come up with.
1:Could stick babies in there and float it, open, vertically, at the top with plants in it for safety.
2:Could stick babies in there and float it, Closed with holes just big enough for babies to go threw, horizontally, with plants for safety and comfort.
3:Could stick babies in there and float it open, horizontally, possible plants
4:Could float it in there with plants and food, so smaller fish (that can fit threw the hole, like my platies) can swim in there for fun and shelter for the women from the men
5:Could float it in there with just food so the fish can be trained to eat in that bottle, holes at the top for food droppings, can summon you whenever they are in the bottle because they are telling you they are hungry, plus the food waste is controllable (brilliant)
6:could sink it for shelter
7:could sink it for babies to swim in,
8:could sink for a place for them to eat thats not floating.
9:Could be used to separate aggressive fish and give them timeout
10:Could be used to scoop water
11:Could be used as a filter O__O !?!?
12:Could be used as an air bubbulationer <-- Hahaha!! omg wth?
13:Could be used to make artificial rain
14:Could be made into a lamp <--- again wth?
what are your ideas?
Plus what else could you use to make a Ghetto(?) Cheap(?) Aquarium or aquarium setup or creative uses for enhancing fish life.
Super Creative example 15: You could get a lot of bottles and tubing and tape and combine them into a fish structure inside the aquarium, so its not just an empty aquarium its a complex living facility. you could have them separate territory with only certain areas for babies (smaller holes, at least till they get bigger) etc with a fish food place thats removable so you can take it out when they are done eating, holes at the top to insert food, (trained to eat there) and a place with heavier flow for fish exercise, Hole at top of tubing where filter could partially flow into creating a current. If they poop inside i have no idea how i would fix that other than a weekly flush out. Imagine the wonder. It of course would have big enough space for swimming freely and privacy and you could even attach the structure (for more space) that goes out of the aquarium entirely! *Gasp* like threw the top.
Would that even be possible? It would help with territory problems and babies could grow and be happy if you could find a way to build it right, and it could create fishy comfort and you could even get tinted tubing and stuff so you only see the bottles and they can have privacy from the outside, and the food would be controlled, and you could even have GREEN or tinted water for natural water conditions for the fish, and floating plants inside, etc. Couldnt you do all that with mostly tape, bottles, and tubing, given you have an aquarium, filter, thermo, etc. to keep it in?
