I feel truely enlightened!

I have spent about an hour clicking on random symbols trying to explore the site and i am so pleased i have.

Lots of us, including myself have asked for action and devlopment pictures of these tanks. It is impressive to look at the completed tank but for us i know its important to understand how these tanks are developed!

Lots of searching has found this, some action pictures and journals of the tanks. Sure i can`t read the writing but i can see the sequential pictures!!

My favourate shot, is the one with the lily outlet pipe but with the Eheim standard intake!! (http://www.cau-aqua.net/images/zoom/walking_aoyama_setup/wa13.jpg)
Its absolutely brilliant and has really sent another shot of confidence through my system. It is so nice to see that my idea of buying the """essentials"" or should i say more beneficial items and leaving the luxuries, is still holding true with even the pro`s! Nice to also see that tanks don`t just come together in a few weeks but take time to mature and develop! What is also apparent, a strong plan and hardscape from the start is essential!!

Hope you enjoy, and if you have already seen them, well it`ll do you know harm to look throught them again

Hope these guys don`t mind me linking to their site, but i am sure they understand it is difficult for us to explore the site without translation.

Chris

Fabulous ! :good: Yes it helps *a lot* to see how it evovled and grew.

Edit: just wish I understood it all :(

Thanks for this Chris, a great help :) and you're right about the hardscaping, you'd never get that wood into the layout if you didnt add it at the beginning.

Sam

EDIT - if anyone can work out the adapted fitler intake in the third link please let me know. I take it, its modified so the CO2 gets added to the intake water but there appears to be two pipes going out the top? Do they run two filters through the same intake? Guess that would explain it?

Where the heck would you get this from, is it stone or wood? i don`t know what it is, yet it still looks natural in the tank!!!!

Looks like petrified wood if you ask me !

Its silly money, Ive only seen a few pieces over here (London shop if i remember rightly) , a piece no bigger than a house brick was best part of £90.
It looks stunning in a tank mind :-(
