I just turned on the light for the morning feeding. The Aphyocharax rathbuni (Green Fire Tetra) are all riled up. Now we do currently have a thunderstorm in progress so there is probably a bit of a pressure drop.
Look at the color difference between the males and females.

Stunning fish, the colours are amazing.

That's one of the things that was interesting this morning. Usually the males are a chartreuse greenish color. This morning they had that orangeish tint to them. Of course it could have been the dim light of morning that made them look that way.
