My 60L tank has cracked on one side where something fell over and hit it, Anyway it is slowly leaking.
Coincidentally I had a new four foot tank delivered yesterday (Haven't filled it yet, just added the substrate).

If I half filled this new tank with the water from my 60L and fresh water, ran my old filter from the 60L alongside the new one in my four foot, and transfered most of the bits and bobs ie. bogwood and plants, do you think my fish will survive?

they shoudl be fine if you move the old filter over with the bacteria in

As long as you move all the filter media with the fish you should be fine. Do do some tests for the next couple of days just in case your bacteria are disturbed and you get an ammonia spike, but that's only to be on the safe side; it's not likely if the filter is kept wet and isn't left switched off for more than a few hours.

Just filling it up now, both filters are running in their so I'm hoping they will be fine.
Filling a 4 foot tank ain't half en different to the 60L. Traipsing around with bloody buckets.

All in and fine so far, apart from the sand mist. Settling nicely though.

You should be fine as your using the old filter too.
