Could I Possible Have Two Female Jewel Cichlids ?

My fish had eggs at the weekend say saturday i think the electric went off for about 2 hours and they abandoned the eggs and i think my zebra loach ate them they even let him were's before they were chasing him off well today one of them is in the barrel and the other is guarding same fish has last time but they have got eggs strange can anyone advise please thanks

They are both taking care of the eggs weird they are making pits in the gravel

Also is alright for me to do a small water change or will this upset the jewel's thanks

can you tell if the eggs are fertile or is it just and wait and see moment thanks
