Could Clown Loaches Eat Neons?

Looking at transferring my fish into the new tank (once it arrives in approx 6 weeks).

As a result once my Clowns grow a bit, will they eat my Neons?

For the Clown Loaches, I was told on this forum previously that they need at least a 30 - 40 (UK) Gallon tank.

No they wont, I had eight inch plus clowns with neons and they never touched them.

Clown loaches are peaceful fish. They will be fine with other fish, especially neons. They will not be ok with snails

Clown loaches max size is about 12", but it will take a long time for them to grow that big. Your children or great grandchildren may see them at the adult size. Clown loaches also do better in groups, so an average tank size should be a 50-55 gallon tank. They can be kept in probably a 30 gallon tank, but keep in mind, they should be moved soon.

This is great news as I will move them to my new tank once it arrived and cycled through.

I also want to add another dozen Neons with them then too together with a third Clowny.........great news..........
