What? Petco now offers crowntails, deltas, plakat, doubletail and halfmoon, as awesome as this guy is they are a lot cheaper

that might be the safer route - - his colors are so amazing I would guarantee that they have been "enhanced" somehow by a computer program.

That's a good choice That way you know what you are getting and can personally pick him out. Besides, can you imagine the trauma fish must go through to be shipped?

I would go with the Thai stock if your going to breed it will be of superior quality.

I'm breeding more for personal enjoyment for the family and stuff, not really for selling high quality

Why would you not want to share your beauties with the world and earn the money to cover the overhead of having the tanks thus making it a non-expense

mainly because I have no idea how to ship them, and whatnot

1 fish is normally wrapped like so

3 x small Plastic bags (holds fish and approximately 300ml of water triple wrapped), heat pack (hand warmer), polystyrene box, 1 slightly bigger plastic bag, 1 small cardboard box, and a fragile sticker. If you order one off the transhipper then you will see how its done.
