I was wondering how many of these guys would u need in a 2ft tank if u wish to breed them. If i brought 8 would that increse my chance of them breeding. which species breed the best the albino peppered or bronze.

I like to have at least 6 corys to breed. Since you usually have to get them while they are young and it's hard to determine their gender, 6 or more will insure you have some of each.

I've had good luck breeding both the bronze and albino C.aeneus. I have some of the peppered corys, but they are still too young to try, so I can't comment on them, but I understand they breed readily too.

Yes they are great fish and awsome to watch, what would you say about having 7 bronze catfish in a 2ft tank or would 6 be enough.
