Corydoras Sterbai Sick

Hello!!
 
I have 12 corydoras sterbai and two of them developed white patches 2,5 months ago.It has covered most of their body,although there is no change in their behavior.They are active and eat normaly.
1 month ago another cory developed a patch.The first two,have developed finrot and sometimes they scratch on the substrate.

I tried a month ago treating with esha 2000 but didn't notice any improvement.Also I managed to net one out of the tank,and treated it for 1 week in a quarantine tank with sera omnipur but still no change.
 
I was told it should be Columnaris so I tried using Kanaplex with Focus at their pellets,but also didn't notice any improvement after 2 days,so I started treating the whole tank with Kanaplex.
I didn't see any improvement after finishing the treatment and  seems like 2 more corys have the same white patches.
 
Please I need your help!!

Cotton wool disease? If so Malachite green may help. Salt treatments are also recommended but I'm not sure about salt and cories.

I've heard that you shouldn't use salt on corys. I've never actually done it myself, so I don't know it'll actually work or not, but I definitely wouldn't try until you can talk to someone who knows.

I just wanted to input here, I use a macro and micro fertiliser for my plants and I found that if I use more than 2.5 per 300L in a week then it starts to effect my corys, they start to flick and itch and dart around the tank, I have tested this theory out 3 times thinking it might of been something else but it was always the ferts....maybe something to think about?

Did you see any change in their appearance?
 
I also use fertilisers...M-W-F 1,5ml Seachem Flourish and T-T-S 2,5ml Flourish Potassium,1,5ml Iron and 0,5ml Phosphorus.

I know this is an old thread, but in case someone out there is combing through online forums trying to figure out what disease their cory has, I believe the cory in this picture has costia.

The following scenario happened to me over the course of probably a year or so: I introduced a new sterbai cory to my tank without quarantining (big mistake, I know) and a few days after I introduced him he developed a similar looking lesion on the side of his body. It didn't seem to bother him much and I didn't have a hospital tank and didn't want to treat the whole tank so I just let him rest and put in an immune supporter (Voogle) and hoped that he would recuperate on his own. He had the lesion off and on for probably a year or so. At one point during this time another cory became ill with what seemed to be an internal infection like sepsis and I removed both to a hospital tank and, suspecting possible Columnaris, I treated with a full course of kanamycin and nitrofurazone. The cory with the internal infection had a complete recovery but the sterbai cory's lesion remained unchanged.

Months down the line another cory eventually developed the same type lesion and seemed to be more adversely affected by it (lethargy, lack of appetite). I did extensive online research and decided it might be Costia and treated the whole tank with 3 weeks of Paraguard (1/2 dose for a few days and then 3/4 dose for the rest of the time due to cories' sensitivity to medications) with complete resolution on both cories. It has been about 6 months and it has not returned.

The Paraguard is not as hard on the fish as antibiotics are (Costia is a parasite, not a bacterium--hence the ineffectiveness of the prior antibiotics). In fact, my cories actually seemed to perk up a little while they were being treated. Even my khuli loaches seemed fine with it. It doesn't harm the biological filter at all, (which is good because if one fish in your tank has Costia you really need to treat the whole tank or you'll just be putting the healed fish back into the same problem).

Limitations of Paraguard being that it only treats external infections. It claims to be effective against a variety of viral, bacterial, and fungal infections as well as ectoparasites (so long as they're external), but I only have personal experience with the (suspected) ectoparasites. If you're not sure what your fish has but you're pretty sure it's just external and/or you want to avoid using antibiotics that can be hard on your fish and biofilter, consider giving this med a try first. However, if your fish has an internal infection or is already too far along I don't think it would be the best choice. Probably an antibiotic would be the only choice (besides comfort measures/euthanasia) at that point.
