Corydoras Egg Colour?

I have 4 bronzed corydoras and of recent I have been lowering the water temperature and feeding them blood worm more frequently to try and induce spawning. Whilst cutting a few plants back in the tank today I have noticed clusters of black eggs floating on the water's surface and some are also attached to the under side of Echindorous leaves. I was just wondering if these are Corydoras eggs (or perhaps Black Neon Tetra eggs) given the changes I made to their diet and lowering the temperature of the water?

Just examined one of them under the microscope and it would appear not to be an egg.

Cory eggs tend to be a clearish white, at least mine. Then go a cream color if fertilized.
Try feeding shrimp pellets. It is a staple for mine and they spawn just about every week or two.
Along with cooler water changes, mine get excited if I up the flow from the filters. As well as any low pressure system that moves through.

Good luck on the breeding. Also, if not an egg, what then?

most Cory eggs are whitish yellow in color. never seen black before.

Glad I found this thread as I was going to add my own topic.
 
I have some Panda corys and noticed an Orange gloopy collection of... erm gloop... I wanted to further inspect and thought they may have been eggs? I didnt take a picture and they only went in the tank on Sunday.
 
Any ideas what this Gloop could be. It was totally different to excess fish food (for my 6 neons). I don't over feed and the corys usually mop up any excess food as well as their shrimp pellets

I wouldn't be able to tell you what the gloop is from knowledge, but having looked at these Panda Cory's on Google, they do appear to have a orange tinge to their body which may mean that their eggs resemble a orange gloop.
 
I think you would intuitively know if you had eggs unlike stupid people like me who tend to mistake sand grains for eggs! It took a microscope examination for me to notice the difference!

Thanks Mark4785, i havent seen it since and I mistook it at first for uneaten fish food ! haa.. Cheers for looking it up and I haven't seen it since.
 
I'll keep an eye out to see if i see any more.
