hey some of you know that i bought two albino corydoras, i later found out they were dyed D: when i go back to my LFS next week they will most likely not have albino corys which aint dyed. so my question is will different corys group with my two albino corys?

Thanks in advance

Hi
Do you know what species they are? and how do you know they are dyed?
albinos are most likely to be C.aeneus or possibly be C.paleatus, if they where expensive they could also be C.Sterbae.

getting either bronze (C.aeneus) or peppered corys (C.paleatus) would be your best bet

The albino Cory is typically C. aeneus with albinism...I'd go with those.

Any of them really. In my experience, they will all shoal together. I just suggested the Bronzes for purity's sake, they will interbreed.

If you don't care, I certainly don't. :D Some people are just really adamant about maintaining purity of species when breeding. ;)

What was the verdict on the mystery 'bubbles'?

Hiya, I have a shoal of corys. I have 2 bronze, 2 albino and 2 peppered. As far as I am aware they all get along fine. My bronze ones do seem alot larger than the albinos and peppered ones though.

The bronze and peppers are different species just like sterbai are. Since all 3 are sometimes seen in an albino color form, you need to know which you have to get a matching species fish. Although cories are not aggressive to other cories of a different species, they do not truly interact socially like they do with their own kind. The real charm of cories is the playfulness that they show when they are kept in a large group of their own kind. They will treat a same species albino as if it had all the colors of the normal form but it can be hard for us to tell which species of albino it is. The fish do know though.
