Correct Stocking For My Tropical 54 Litre Tank...

...right well just looking for some advice on stocking my tank when im ready. (I know, I know another thread by someone asking about stocking)

Anyway I was thinking of just getting 1 more fish which is a Dwarf Gourami for abit of a change in the tank and for abit of a 'centre piece' fish I suppose, however im growing more fond of my guppies and platy I already have, so am now thinking of just investing in a few more of them possibly.

Tank:

54 Litres or 14 US Gallons

Current Water conditions:

PH - 7.6
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 10

Current stock:

4 Firetail Guppy
1 Tuxedo Platy
1 Galaxy Platy

Your thoughts and recommendations would be great to hear

Avoid dwarf gouramis like the plague. The vast majority die very soon after been bought from unknown internal bacterial problems. Search the web and you'll soon see. A Single Honey Gourami is a far better option for a small tank like yours.

Pygmy corys are your only option in a small tank. You need to buy at least 4.

all cories would be fine in his tank if they dont get any bigger than 2 inched
