Coopersafe And Carbon

All of the packaging on the coppersafe says to maintain normal filtration and aeration.....I've got carbon in my filter....I'm guessing if I was supposed to take it out it would tell me on the package? Thanks

maintaining normal filtration means don't stop the filter, and keep the bio filter running. Definately remove the carbon as it will remove the medicine, but leave in the bio spounge. (assuming you are on a power filter)
