Convicts & Malawi's

Hi my m8's jus gave me sum convicts & malawi's coz his tank woz over stocked and i woz just woundering if i can put anyother fish in with them ie plecs or other kind of bottom/algea eaters as my m8 sed not really i would be very greatful for any helpful advice thanks alot

How many?, what tank size? whay other occupants in the tank?  I have never kept convicts or Malawi but these are the questions people will need to know before they can help you.
