i have started to take down some of my tanks because i am getting more involved with my birds and i just don't have the time for the fish. all i am keeping is my tropical tank, 4 crayfish tanks, and my newt tank and my frog tank. now that i know i won't be needing my newt tank as a fish tank in the future (i think he is going to live a long time :) ), i have decided to put a divider in the tank to make a land/ water tank. what kind of silicon/ caulking is safe for fish tanks?

thanks :D

I would simply just google aquarium sealant/silicon and you'll find there will be choices on offer.

Just as long as it does not contain anti-fungal agents or fungicides, and is pure silicone then that should be fine to use on fish tanks.
