Converting A Tank

I saw someone on 1 of my hubbies forums are selling a fish tank but they dont know the us gallon can someone please give me a rough guess on the size

the tank is 2ft x 1ft x 1ft

now im wanting to get a single species tank, I was thinking cories or convicts what do you think and how many

what sort of fish are cool then, give me some ideas so I can look them up and research before I buy.... but Im completly lost about what to even look at...

u could do a pair of rams maybe.

personally id have a pair of bolivian rams (new world cichlid section) a shoal of neon tetras or something similar and some cories for the bottom.

How about 6-8 female bettas and 4-5 pygme corys?

Yes you can do that, you may even be able to put more in but wait for someone else to tell you about that because I'm not 100% sure that you could add more than 8.

id do-rams,neons,cories,and a ostiniclus.(a small active and effective algae eater).you could also get a kuhli loach

the Otocinclus do better in groups so best to get a few of these.

this is only a 15 us gallon tank...seems a lot... im new to the whole stocking thing as my present tank was an established tank when I got it...

but I'll take any ideas you have.... your all more advanced then me...

only get about 3-5 neons and u will not be over stocked
