I want to add liquid fertilizer (Flourish) to my 5 gallon tank. The instructions say 1 capful (5ml) to 250 L (60 gallon). That equates out to less that .5 ml for 5 gallon. How many drops from a medicine dropper would that be? I know I can measure how many drops it takes to fill a test tube to 5 ml but I figure someone has already done it.

When I worked for a bath oil manufacturer, we called one drop of fragrance from an eye dropper equivalent to 1ml.

I don't know how acurate this is, but the bath oil always smelled nice!

The dropper I have came with one of my test kits, not sure which one. It takes about 3 drops to raise the water in a Dr. Wellfish test tube the full width of the band that you are supposed to fill it to. I'm sure it will probably take numberous drops to make 1 ml unless you meant .1 ml. I'm getting ready to go try it just out of curiousity. I guess a lot depends on the dropper you use.

EDIT: Just in case anyone is interested, I have 2 droppers so I tried both. It took 20 drops from one of them to make 1 ml and 16 drops from the other.
