Continued Ich Treatment

I love animals ... I am a huge dog decided to try fish and the feeling of a fish compared to a dog is different like a child you can hold a dog and calm a dog make him happy though interaction ...

A fish you give a fish the best by creating a wonderful enviroment for them to live in.

and when that enviroment goes bad ... its very frustrating ... solutions to problems often slow ... signs usually found when issues have gotten pretty bad.

I feel for your situation ... Good luck at resolving the problem.

this is the craziest infection iv ever read about, im sorry about ur fish, i just had my 2 male salfin mollies without so uch as a mark on them, i hope ur angle fish makes it

update time......... no deaths since the last time i posted.... thou i noticed today some white spots arround the mouth of my smaller angel.... :( im treating the tank, i raised the temp, i took out water to create a better oxygen exchage.... what am i doing wrong?.... so fustrated.... thanks for everyones support. It means alot exspecially right now when im ready to explode....

the life cycle of ich is somewhere around 2 weeks so you might want to keep medicating for that whole time to really kill all of it.

i'm sorry for your loss. when i had a big die off like that, it almost made me wanna quit the hobby i was soo depressed

im keeping my fingers crossed for angel. Its horrible when things go wrong. dont let it bring you down though, youre doing everything you can

Thanks everyone. Another upside down cat dropped off.... this is day... 5? i was planning on treating the tank a minimum of 10 days just to be sure of everything. My bigger angal (the most important one) still isnt showing any signs of illness. So ehhh so far so good.

ehhh.... my smaller angel dropped off this weekend. two days ago, but it hadnt been looking health for a few days so im not wntirelly surprised. I realized i was running low on meds so i ordered more so hopefully it will be here before i run out of im just going to have to buy some more... almost 2 days with nothing bad happening. And day 7 of treatment, day 5 with elevated temps.... grrr.... just make it through 1 more week with nothing dying and i should be ok right???

update.... today is day 8, everything seemed fine up to the point i went to work. Nothing has died since saturday (THANK YOU) everyone seems fine and no signs of any illness. I was thinking about starting to lower the temp on day 10 back down to the normal temp of around 76 degrees and continue treating til day 14. Also on day 14 i was going to add carbon filters back into the tank to remove the meds and do a large water change the following day (day 15) o know i asked about this before (cant find the thread) so does this sound like a good plan?
