Congo Frogs.

I've had Congo Frogs in my tropical tank with 13 small fish for over a week now. Was told they ate things from the bottom of the tank but not WHAT they ate. They didn't seem to eat anything for a week so we went back to the aquatic shop. Now we have frozen bloodworm for them which only a couple of the fish seem to eat as well but the frogs get plenty. Also put live daphnia in as a treat and the frogs really enjoyed those. So pleased our frogs are now happy AND fed! Hope this helps someone else too.

It really depends on what size fish they are, if they are neon tetras there's no problem, but then again if you has a pacu in with some congo frogs then thats a different story altogether...

i have 3 of these guys one of mine prefers frozen brine shrimp and the other two like bloodworm

also i agree ive never heared them called congo frogs only adf

There's plenty of info on frogs in the 'invertebrates amphibians and reptiles' section.

Adf's should not be fed live (or frozen live) as a staple diet, only as a treat. Their staple should be HBH frog & tadpole bites (USA) or ZooMed frog & tadople food (UK). They also have to be target fed as the fish will eat their food before they find it. I had two in my betta's tank, and I had to go to great lengths to make sure they got enough food. The frogs are now in their own tank as they mistook the betta's tail for food (they are almost blind) and he ended up with a shredded tail.
