Ok, so I woke up this morning and my redfinned shark is moving slow, just swimming around. But the thing that caught me offgaurd, he occassionally swims on his side or upside down  Is this behaviour something I should be concerned about, or is he just being a wierd little shark?

I think they're just weird!! Mine does it too.

My Red-Tailed Black Shark swims any which way when he is scavanging. He swims upside down if he needs to get to the underside of a stone or leaf, and sideways if he wants to. They are very well balanced fish and are more than comfortable with it.

Just make sure you keep an eye on him and if he appears to be having difficulty keeping himself straight then he might have a form of internal infection.

Mine is a redfinned "rainbow shark." He's hanging out in the top layer just kinda swimming around and doing barrel rolls. On one hand it's kind of amusing but I'm also worried about him. I can't tell if he's doing it on purpose or not.

some times they do that because of bad water qualities, Maybe you just have a playfull shark :hyper:

my RTBS must be pretty level headed because the only trick he does is sticking his mouth out of the water.
