I was just wondering if the thread has been found or if any thing points to what deleted it.

Hi Mark,

I'm andy - William's brother, and I host this site on one of my servers.

Been chatting to John (Tolak) - who pointed me at this, and certainly it wasn't intentionally deleted, and there's nothing to indicate why its disappeared - as far as I know there's no autodelete configured, and there's certainly plenty of space on disk for the database to expand into!


I've been trawling through backups, and am going to try and restore this topic from there.


This may take some time, as I want to test it, to be sure it doesn't affect the rest of the site.

I think it's good this is looked into now otherwise I see no reason why other topics will disappear in the future without reason.

Hey, just wondering if any progress has been made towards restoring the topic that disappeared.

If it cannot be restored I guess it doesn't matter anymore as I've forgotten what I was going to add to the discussion. If I create anymore topics containing lots of material I'll just copy and paste all of the material onto my hard disk.

I am sorry to say that this has not yielded to an intense search by the MODs and the Admin here on TFF. We are at a loss about what happened to the thread.
