I think putting angelfish in with oscars of any size would be cruel....Oscars would love to have a little exotic snack but I love angelfish and could not see one get eaten or disemboweled...

I have already said in this thread, i am NOT getting an Oscar... my tank is not big enough, and even if it was, i would still NOT get one, as i like my 2 angel fish :D

on the site clarie posted, it seems like she found the site that had the smallest mimimum sized tank apporopriate for clowns ( which was not true) and goes by that.

Also, it does take a while for clowns to reach their potential, even still they do require more than 50 gallons. Clowns need to be in larger groups.. ATLEAST 5, and they are pretty active, and with all the swimming they do i think they require mroe than 50 gallons.

Thanx for your advice....

I am keeping my 2 clown loaches, and will put them into my 50 gallon tank, once i know it is cycled and safe, they are doing just fine in my established tank at the moment, and it is smaller than 50g, but as i am a nice caring person, i decided to get something bigger....

The clown as fine for now if they are little, but as they get bigger they will need a 90gal tank.
