If i get a golden killifish, will my male betta attack it?

If you are going to go with killifish stay with killifish. They are perfered to be a species-only tank.

Also the best rule for beta compatability is, if it has large bright and vibrant fins, just like a beta, then the beta will likely attack it. As long as it isn't anything like the beta, then the beta won't bother it.

i just want a straight answer plz. im thinking it might look like a female betta to the male since killi have similar shape.
