Compatibility Question Folks.....

Hi, I currently have about 17 fishes in my 50 gallon (200 litres i think) tank and i want a couple more fishes to add that have a striking colour such as yellow as the tank looks abit dull at the minute. Ok i have...
4 platinum angelfish (1inch)
1 adult marble (4 inch)
1 betta
4 albino sharks
1 cardinal tetra
1 pleco

Also have 3 unknown fishes, 1 rummy nose, 1 gold barb which im planning to get rid of (to a gd home)

So i want a few more fishes with striking colours such as bright yellow lab gourami maybe? or what else is there? I also am planning on getting a couple more cardinal tetras and maybe a couple crabs?

So far all fish have been friendly, although anything that goes very close to the marble would have to make a quick dash as the marble doesnt like close company. Also couple of the sharks often fight, well seen em fight twice in a week so far.

What about some clown loaches, they can be fairly bright + active when healthy just make sure you have at least 3 of them as they dont realy like being on their own

Not too bad a chart if you are willing to restrict yourself to only those few fish Hughessomefish. I have more species than that in just my own tanks, and I have very few egg layers anywhere in my stock. It probably does represent all of the fish in one of their shops though.

If I were you I'd definately look at adding some clown loaches. They're great community fish, and great fun to watch swimming and playing together. But as said earlier you really need 3 or more. I have five myself and love to watch them play, and it's funny to watch them sleep to. They really get themselves into some odd positions.

if they are rainbow sharks, which i presume they are, there will be trouble at some point.
it would be much easier if you looked around, decided on a few fish you like and then come back and ask us what we think about the fish and there compatibility with your current stocking.

They are albino red fin shark

and thanks for your input so far, will the clown loaches be ok with the betta?

could some gouramis be compatible? The yellow ones look nice

The betta needs to be out of there, it will end up the victim of your angels and sharks at some point, get him a 5gallon heated and filtered on his own. Do not keep him in that tank.

As for the clown loach have you seen a fully grown one? 3 in 200 litres IMO would be quite cruel but that is because in truth they prefer groups of 6+ and 6 fish maxing out at a possible 12inches in a 200litre tank just doesn't work.
Your current stock has the possibility of being aggressive, especially those sharks i suggest you remove 3 ASAP, things could get very nasty.
For a larger yellow fish i suggest a gold gourami, as it's aggression levels are similar to your angels, depending on the individual fish.

I can't stress enough how much you need to get that betta out of there

I Agree with forestpisces here regarding the clown loaches. 200L is not big enough for clown loaches.

For a group of 3 clown loaches you would need a minimum of 350L
