Ok so i went to a semi local FS, World of Water at Shinefield near Reading, Berkshire.

Never been there before, but its a huge shop with nice staff. Got chatting to one of the younger lads there, who manged to do me a "deal" on some Corys. (He seemed new to the shop, but knew ALOT about his fish! Discussed his anger at people treating Corys as "hoovers", and his efforts on educating people that they are much more than tank cleaners!)

They were 2 for £9, which i thought was a little steep, hence asking for 6, or 8 if he could cut me a deal. He said he doesnt get any "movement", unfortunately, but did "sort me out". I didnt watch him bagging them up, but presumed i would get 6 and wasnt fussy which, they were all identical (About 30 in the tank)

I got home, slid the bag out of the brown paper bag, and counted 10! I did however (very unfortunately) loose one on the journey home. As i said, i didnt watch him bag them up, so the little guy could very well have been on his last legs already. Shame, but i have 9 healthy looking Panda's. (The label said Agassizi, im not daft, but i guess it was an old label.)

Just a few snaps a few mins after going in. I couldnt get them all, they spread out when i released them!

Nice! Sounds like you got a great deal even if you did lose one! Congratulations!

Ill perhaps up the numbers of these guys in a week or so, ill see how these get on as their the first ones to go into a new set up. Just gonna watch the water for a week, then look at more options.

Its most likely to be a shoal of something, tetra of some sort (to keep the mrs happy! )

After that, it'll probably be looking a lot like your suggestions, hopefully one or two breeding pairs of something interesting!
