Community Tank

when i 1st started keeping fish i had a 120 litre "community tank" you know the usual neons plattys mollies harlequins etc now this was what i had always known as a community tank. nowadays i keep a 453 litre tank with a mix of cichlids catfish a couple of oddballs and some dithers. i was looking at my tank just now thinking that this is now my "community" and hit upon the theory that if your fish are all happily getting along peacefully then no matter the stock its a community.
which makes my "community tank"

1 firemouth
1 featherfin synodontis
1 red tail black shark
1 glass knife fish
1 senegal bichir
1 L081 small spot golden nugget plec
8 tiger barbs
15 corys

all living in perfect harmony so therefore technically a community tank.
would be very interested to hear peoples opinions on this theory

I have to say i completely agree really any tank that is healthy with happy co exsisting inhabitants that are of different species is a community tank. It doesn't just have to be peaceful to be a community, semi agressive or aggressive fish can and do still live in a community of fish.

exactly any group of fish co-habiting peacefully together wether its cichchlids or guppys is its own type of community

is the fish in your profile pic a ballon or a real fish? i tried finding it out on my own but it looks fake.

btw my neighborhood is not a community... i hate them (except for the girl across the street, shes in my classes at school)

I agree, that's a community to me mojo dojo, I think it might be a real fish with flash on the glass making it look rounded?
