i am hoping to get some galaxy rasbora and some chilli/mosquito rasbora (they go by 2 names). i think theyre very pretty :D

Some possibilities are chilli rasboras, boraras merah, boraras maculatus, guppies, endlers, CPDs, c. Pygmaeus, c. Harbrosous
Spence, I don't think DG's are the best choice as due to massive amounts of inbreeding they are very weak fragile, and susceptible to dwarf gourami disease, also I dnt think that they do best with cockatoo cichlids

Might you not look into upping the numbers of fish you have? your fish will appreciated more of there own kind rather than chucking loads of different species into one tank. if you expand on the mollys there are loads of crazy colours you can get. there are also red phantoms that would contrast nice with your black ones. you could look into hatchet fish. they are very intesting shaped but not that colourful. they cling to the surface of the water so they would take any room in your tank. maybe a bright yellow bristelnose plec would be worth thinking about?

thanks for the quick replys. i was thinking about guppys but dont want them breeding and ending up with a load of them in my tank and lloyd i thought about that before buying the fish and i think i have alright numbers of fish tbh but i think i will take your advice and look for some more colourful mollies but they seem to produce alot of waste comapared to my other fish.

oh and tank volume is 200 litres and hardsness is medium hard, cant remember the numbers

yeah they are quite messy. i can see where fishy friend is coming from trying to advice tiny species but i would advise against keeping any of the microrasboras mentioned unless you have quite soft water as they are known to die prematurly if not kept in soft acidic conditions. mollys will breed just as happily as guppies though lol. if you make no attempt to save the fry, with your stocking i wouldnt imagine many fry would survive tbh

ill google thread fin rainbow fish mate give me 2 secs, sterbai corys are abit expensive and have already got 6 bronze

think im going to go for the guppys tbh... will the black phantoms not nip at them ??
