Bignose was trying to educate. He came in and quoted scientific fact which was responded to by lots of people saying that silver works despite the actual evidence suggesting the contrary.

I'm sorry if you don't understand it all fully Kathy, but you shouldn't use any problems with comprehension as a reason to close threads when people say things that contradict what you think.

You don't need to read the scientific texts that bignose quoted. He stated the results to you. The fact the papers have been quoted means that other scientists have scrutinised the test systems, results and conclusions to ensure they have been based on sound scientific principles (something you will never get from a news website, blog or manufacturer's website).

It seems to me Kathy you wanted to debate with bignose and say he was wrong and your belief was right, but when bignose presented scientific facts you could not counter you got upset and then requested the thread closed. I for one would like it to stay open to see if anyone has any other scientific papers, or knows of at least partially scientific tests, that would confirm that silver has some uses.

i dont think bignose is trying to make himself feel "big" he is just doing the research and telling you the facts. i dont think he cares about winning as you said. he just wants to inform people with the facts
