ok i really have 2 questions here one what does a co2system do because if i need one for plants i can get one

The CO2 is a nutrient like any other. Plants need a source of carbon to grow well. They also need nitrates, minerals (such as iron, potassium, magnesium) and sufficient light. Obviously these need to be balanced otherwise it can lead to algae outbreaks as they make use of the available nutrients.

Yup, plants use co2 in photosynthesis. Without being able to undertake sufficient photosynthesis, they will sease to grow and eventually die. here is a useful link for u to flick through!
