I switched from yeast to a 5lb co2 tank over a year ago, and its been an on/off again battle. The first 4-6 months everything was beautiful till the tank was empty. Got a refill and it only lasted a month.. tried again and same result. So i went to a different company, and changed out all the tubing, diffuser, check valve, etc. Once again the first 4 months were great, then the next tank (this place just replaces the tank, instead of just refilling it), it only lasted a couple of weeks.

Digging around some more, it looks like my issue was I am using blue silicone tubing. Apparently silicone is horrible with co2 over time? Looking at other posts, there is a link to which tubing can handle co2, I was wondering, are all those tubing safe for fish tanks, plants + fish? Or is there a more specific type of tubing i should get? Thanks
