Co2 Time Scale

Anyone who have been reading my posts will know how much I have struggled to find reasonable priced CO2 I have been thinking about buying DaveWs JBL kit but was unsure about getting refills. I have just found a site with VERY cheap fire extinguishers. Can any one tell me how long the 5Kg and 2Kg should last in a 120l tank with solenoid set-up. Thanks.

A 500gm bottle lasts me 4 1/2- 5 weeks.

I'll last months, esp with a solenoid. A 500g lasted me 3ish months running at 1bps 24/7. Certainly long enough to make getting a 2kg or 5kg extinguisher worth the money. The 5kg might even last a year.

I've just seen your post about fire extinguishers. Have you actually found somewhere to get the bits and pieces you will need? I'm seriously interested in doing this myself....
