Fire Extinguisher here at work now so can get this setup tonight. I've got all the bits i need but didnt bother with a bubble counter as i've got a large JBL ladder which should allow me to count the bubbles as they go up.
I've had some conflicting advice on when it should be active so wanted to confirm the following:
I have my tank lights on from 5pm until 11pm at night, i understand CO2 is only needed during the hours when the tank is lit. I presume it would be wise to enable the Co2 an hour or two before the lights come on so there is some in the tank ready to be absorbed by the plants?
With the DIY Yeast Co2 system, its on and running all the time...
