Hi

I went to the Poznan Aquamedic store today to ask where they get their CO2 bottles refilled and they said that they goto a gas company on the other side of Poznan on a regular basis to get their tanks refilled and said that they do it for customers too.

I was very happy that they provide this service and didnt really mind how much it would cost, and i was even more glad when they said that they do it FREE OF CHARGE!

they lent me one of their older CO2 bottles to use until they call me to let me know that my bottle is refilled, which should take less than a week they said.

Isnt that great? very nice ppl and nice service. Too bad they are located sorta Outside of the city...so getting there is a pain in the a**. But the train ticket is cheap cheap cheap... so thats also a goodie.

I was just wondering whether ppl on this forum get service like this too?

thanks.

well i dont have a pressurized co2 for aquarium plants but i go paintballing all the time which requires co2 refills. Its absolute dirt cheap everywhere and quite often you get it free. I beleive if you spend more than $5 dollars at the sports store they give it to you for free. And everywhere ive been the "labor" is free of charge. My advice is dont go that far to get it refilled, any sports store dealing with paintballs will have it and many hardware store have it. (sorry to rain on your parade :) )

Wait a minute is there a system that uses CO2 tanks used in paintball to release CO2 in the aquarium? If so please post a link where I can get one of these I have a bunch of CO2 tanks laying at home from Paintball.

using paintball tanks is the same as using any old co2 tank and works the same as a pressurized system with only difference being that one tank was made for paintball and one tank was made for something else.
