Hey all,

Having trouble with my profi 2...

I ran it constantly for about 4 days, now im using a timer to switch it off at night, but when it comes back on in the morning no bubbles come out? Im not sure if this is because i have it on a low amount of bubbles, I have one into the difuser every couple of seconds. In order for me to start it ack up againg I have ot turn the silter screw on the front of the unit to allow alot of bubbles out and then re-tighten it.

Also how do I find out what the correct amount of CO2 / amount of bubbles i should have in the tank?

Thanks, mike

LOL i set mine up last night and had exactly the same problem.

like me you probably got frustrated and turned the screw too far and blasted the fish out of the water. i set the rate before i left for work so i'll see what happens tomorrow morning and post back here.

anyone know whats going on?

Hello,

it's not a problem, that's normal..

Q:Why?

A: because when the pressure is low about 1 Bar and under. (what is should be).

the gas need some time to enter the water, the water is more density than gas, this's a fact.

So, in the morning where the magnetic valve opened, you will wait some minute's to see the gas

running in the water,

that's happened for everyone,

But if you turn the valve over to see the bubble's faster, you will over dosing the gas then,,

and you have to adjusting it again...

That's all..

just my 2cents but i had a similar prob with my pressurized when i first got it.the problem was a major leak at the bubble counter.try using some soap and water in a spray bottle to see if you have a leak like i was instructed, maybe a similar issue.although i dont know how yours works so if im completely off my rocker please dont kill the messenger,...:) reason i chimed in was after setting my bubblecounter pressure the next day i would not get bubbles so i had to keep fiddling with it.after i found the leak no more problems.
