on friday i baught a small co2 kit for my discus tank. the guy in the shop said to remove all air lines as the extra oxygen would remove the co2 i was trying to put in. when i got home i did this and setup the kit but did not turn it on , we went shoping for a hour and retuned to find the discus and other fish (tetras )ect gasping at the top of the tank. quickly i replaced the air lines and within half a hour everything was ok .i now have the co2 on with the air stones on . i have repeated tuning of the air pump and the same thing happens . what is going on ? please help john
