Clown Plec...My Newest Aquisition!

Well, I needed an algae eater for my 10 gallon, and I was just going to go with ottos or something... But this little guy caught my eye. He's so tiny...not even an inch and a half. My favorite thing about him, is that he looks like he has a fine sprinkling of gold dust all over him...makes for a gorgeous effect. We've named him Tetsuo, yes from the anime Akira. Onward to the pics!


Here's little Tetsuo still floating in his bag...as you can see I got some complimentary gravel along with him, lol!

Yeah, I've never seen one that tiny either...but of course that just ment that I had to have him...he was WAY too cute to pass up! But being cute does not mean that he's neglecting his duties...he's already eating the algae off the sides of the tank.

Well, his REAL price was $10.99, but...

I have an extremely good relationship with my lfs. I was their very first customer back in April, and I am in the store at least once a week, so...

I got him for $5.99, because they love me.

i used to go to my LFS every day (needed exersise so i rode my bike) and they still dont give me discounts
