Clown Loaches And Snails

Hi. I've just been cleaning my new tank ready for cycling, and i noticed in the gravel there was a few small snails. Now, to be honest, I can't stand snails and want them out of my tank.

But, I have 3 clown loaches and I have heard about them being very good at eating snails. So, would it be worth leaving the snails in there for my loaches to enjoy? Or would the loaches just not notice them and let them breed and infest my tank?

Yea leave them alone the loaches will have fun eating them.

They'll love them. Would increase your number from 3 to 6 as they prefer larger numbers, if you have the room that is.

Excellent. That was what I was hoping to hear. I have considered upping their numbers, but they seem perfectly happy as a 3, not to mention, as you said, the space issue.
