Clown Loach

Hey guy,

I was bought two clown loaches for xmas but after reading about them i realised that ideally they need a massive tank and to be in a group of about 5.

Now i know what ideally they need but i was wondering if they would be ok on their own in a 180l tank. As i said i know that this isnt ideal but i dont have the heart to take them back to my local fish shop were i know that they have them on their own in really small tanks. So i figured that they would be better off with me in a 180l tank more so than with the LFS.

Is it possible to keep two clown loaches in a 180l tank?

+1 they are big fish and need big tanks - even if they do go back to the LFS they will not be there long term as they would with you - or you could list them on the classifieds here or try Aquarist Classified and list them on their its a bit like ebay but just for fish stuff.

If your into your loaches you could look at Zebra Loaches or Dwarf Chain Loaches which are a little similar but stay much smaller .
