Well now that eating inanimate food is solved, my next question is...how often should I really be feeding? Every time I put the turkey baster in to do anything to the tank, I get the goby begging all over the tip of it, and he's all over my fingers begging if I put my hand in, no matter how many times I've fed him. I'm amazed how fast he made the connection. After a while when I'm putting food in, he just grabs bits of food and just spits it back out instead of eating it, so I know he can't possibley be THAT starving all the time. But, I don't know how high gobies' metabolisms are compared to other fish. I'm not sure when to feed him since I don't know when he's actually hungry.
Can I limit it to once a day, fed until he starts spitting stuff out? Or does it need to be more than that unless there is something available for him to snack on during the rest of the day?
